Gantry crane is a bridge crane whose bridge is supported on the ground track by outriggers on both sides. It is structurally composed of a gantry, a trolley running mechanism, a lifting trolley and an electrical part. The gantry crane is composed of the upper bridge (including the main beam and end beam), outriggers, and lower crossbeams. In order to expand the operating range of the crane, the main beam can extend beyond the outriggers to one or both sides to form a cantilever. A lifting trolley with an arm can also be used to expand the operating range of the crane by pitching and rotating the arm.
